SaaStr's AI revenue agent built its own integration with Meta Muse, no code required
Two AI agents at SaaStr set up their own communication channel last week. Nobody wrote the integration. The agents did.
One is 10K, SaaStr's internally built AI VP of Revenue. Built on Replit over the past year, it runs Salesforce headlessly and connects to more than 20 internal applications. The other is Meta's Muse, a personal AI agent that executes tasks across phone, computer, and web apps. SaaStr's Chief AI Officer uses Muse as her assistant.
No connector existed between them. No vendor shipped an integration. The agents created what SaaStr founder Jason Lemkin calls a "private bulletin board": a shared endpoint on 10K where the two can exchange work.
Then they negotiated a control: 10K told Muse it needed approval before taking action. They agreed on a safe word.
What this means for revenue operations
This is not a product launch or a new sales tool. It is a signal about how AI-native revenue operations will work. When your CRM agent can talk directly to your personal assistant, the stack stops being a collection of point solutions connected by Zapier.
SaaStr operates with roughly 33 employees and an estimated $5 million in annual revenue. 10K extends that team across revenue operations, CRM administration, and sales execution without adding headcount. That is the use case: AI agents doing workflow-heavy work (research, follow-ups, scheduling, Salesforce updates) while a small human team focuses on strategy and closing.
Meta's Muse is US-only for now, with no confirmed ANZ launch timeline. But the pattern matters more than the specific tools. If agents can self-integrate, revenue operations stops being about managing integrations and starts being about setting guardrails.
The stack is changing
Traditional sales tech stacks are built on APIs, middleware, and integration specialists. AI agents that can read, write, and negotiate their own connections change that model. The question for revenue leaders: what happens when your Salesforce agent, your outbound sequencer, and your scheduling assistant start coordinating work without your RevOps manager in the loop?
SaaStr's answer: they set up a safe word first.
