Support Fusion raises $1M, hiring GTM roles in Australia and US

Support Fusion, a Melbourne startup connecting enterprise IT tools like ServiceNow and Jira with MSP platforms, raised $1M AUD in pre-seed funding. Func Ventures and Exhort Ventures led the round, with strategic backing from Antler and three channel industry operators.

The company launched mid-2025 and now operates in Australia, New Zealand, US, and UK markets. Founders Greg and Steve Rudakov built an integration platform that covers roughly 70% of co-managed IT service engagements at launch. The product connects 10+ platforms including ConnectWise, Autotask, Freshdesk, and Zendesk.

What the money funds

The raise targets three hiring areas: a go-to-market and alliances specialist based in Australia for vendor partnerships and marketplace listings, US-based roles in go-to-market, partnerships, and customer success for 24/7 coverage, and AI engineering positions.

No sales team details disclosed: no CRO, VP Sales, or team size mentioned. Total headcount likely under 10 pre-funding. No comp packages shared for the new roles.

The market angle

CEO Greg Rudakov said US and UK customers started pulling the product without active sales push. "Smart money from two directions at once: VCs with a clear thesis on where enterprise IT is heading, and operators who have spent careers feeling this pain firsthand."

Angel investor Ryan Spillane, CEO of 360 Consulting and former MSP operator, backed the round after running into the exact problem Support Fusion solves: "We had a client on NetSuite and an engineer on site two days a week just to keep tickets in sync between systems."

Worth noting

The company is scaling offshore from Melbourne with no disclosed revenue data. Early-stage product-market fit based on inbound demand from US/UK markets. Strategic angels bring channel relationships but no public co-sell metrics yet.

Hiring focus on GTM suggests sales motion still being defined. Watch for comp details when roles post.
