Canva hits 10.5 billion visits, ranks second AI platform globally
Sydney-founded Canva attracted 10.5 billion website visits between May 2025 and April 2026, making it the world's second most-visited AI platform behind ChatGPT, according to analytics firm OneLittleWeb.
ChatGPT led with 64.7 billion visits. Google's Gemini came third (6.9 billion), followed by DeepSeek (3.8 billion), Claude (3.4 billion), Grok (2.5 billion), and Perplexity (2.3 billion).
The ranking is traffic, not model capability. Canva's AI features sit inside a much larger design and presentation product with 265 million monthly active users and 31 million paid users. The company hit US$4 billion in annual revenue in 2025.
For sales teams, this matters because Canva owns the presentation and design workflow for millions of SMBs, marketing teams, and sales ops functions. If your buyers are building pitch decks, internal comms, or campaign assets, they are likely doing it in Canva.
What this means for go-to-market:
- Sales presentation tools compete with Canva's mass-market penetration, not just PowerPoint
- Demo automation and sales engineer tools need to integrate where buyers actually work
- Canva operates across 190 countries, making it a horizontal platform for prospect research and outreach planning
Canva remains headquartered in Sydney, making it one of ANZ's flagship global software scale-ups. The company has been aggressive in acquisitions to build out AI features, but its core strength is ease of use in visual communication, not frontier AI models.
Sales team takeaway: Your buyers are already using Canva for presentations, proposals, and marketing assets. If your product plays in that workflow (sales enablement, demo tools, proposal software), you need to understand how Canva fits into their stack and where you can add value. Traffic rankings show usage, not purchase intent, but 10.5 billion visits is a signal that this platform matters in how deals get built and pitched.
The broader trend: AI usage is concentrating around a small number of platforms. ChatGPT dominates, Canva owns design, and the rest are fighting for third place. For sales professionals, that means your tech stack needs to integrate with the tools that actually have user mass, not just the loudest marketing.
